Lincoln
Lincoln was originally started in 1917 by the same man who had started Cadillac in 1902, Henry Martyn Leland. It was later sold in 1922 to Ford Motor Company and by June 1922 Henry Leland had resigned. It may have been due to the fact that Henry Leland had been the one who had started Cadillac from the Defunct Ford Motor Car Company and Henry Ford had held some resentment towards him for that.
